Responsible technology is becoming a priority for many organisations. The challenge is turning principles into practical decisions.
When privacy, cybersecurity, AI governance, sustainability, digital rights and organisational needs meet, technology choices often involve uncertainty, competing priorities and difficult trade-offs.
On 30 June, Pau&Company is hosting a participatory conversation on Responsible Technology in Practice, exploring how organisations navigate these challenges and what helps turn responsible technology principles into real systems and decisions.
We will be joined by Seher Shafiq, Global Community Lead at Mozilla, who will share reflections on how different communities prioritise technology challenges and how these perspectives shape Mozilla Festival’s community curated tracks.
The session will also introduce the Ethical Software Framework, a proposal by Pau&Company exploring how responsible technology can be defined and implemented in practice.
We welcome practitioners, researchers, technologists, policy professionals, community organisers and organisations working on these challenges to join the conversation.
