Job summary

As the Lead Developer for Dynamics, your primary role involves spearheading the establishment of a new Dynamics capability within DVSA. Your main objective is to support internally developed projects utilising Dynamics. Joining our expanding internal Application Development team, you'll play a crucial role in creating and maintaining mission-critical applications for DVSA.

Your responsibilities will include setting up and managing the Microsoft Dynamics capability within the team, overseeing the support and advancement of existing and forthcoming applications. Microsoft Dynamics constitutes a significant portion of our current and future technical strategy.

Consequently, we've decided to form an in-house team to handle support and development tasks for externally sourced applications, while also facilitating the creation of internally generated solutions.

You'll have the opportunity to join the team at its inception, allowing you to actively shape its structure, training programs, and strategic direction. Our applications are instrumental in facilitating essential activities for DVSA staff, such as scheduling theory tests, managing roadside enforcement encounters, and conducting annual vehicle tests.

There’s never been a better time to join the DVSA.

Our Digital-first vision  is supported by a clear strategy which allows our staff to develop and grow.
