Summary of Responsibilities:
Identifying security issues and mitigating solutions including testing new security technologies
Research and propose appropriate security solutions
Design secure solutions for cloud hosted applications and services
Recommend and co-ordinate the implementation of technical controls to support and enforce defined security policies
Lead teams to deliver technical security consultancy to end customers

Essential Skills:
An understanding of security architectural principles, including:
- Experience/knowledge of the design of secure information systems and evaluation of designs against standards
- An understanding of the development lifecycles using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Experience of carrying out or providing input into risk reviews or technology audits
- Technical security experience/knowledge of security products and security features in technical products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with individuals who have varying levels of knowledge and skills
- Be committed to continuous self-development
Desirable Skills:
- Experience/knowledge of public
cloud solutions and cloud security technologies and good practice Technical and Security
qualificationsUnderstanding of Data Protection
Act and the General Data Protection Regulations- Experience within information
security risk and compliance function - Penetration testing, Vulnerability
Management, use of SIEM technologies and services
