Delivering with People.

You'll be responsible for leading digital delivery in complex environments, ensuring effective planning, governance, risk management and coordination across multiple teams and dependencies. You'll build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, aligning priorities and driving informed decision-making.

You'll foster inclusive, high-performing teams by removing barriers, encouraging continuous improvement and developing agile delivery capability across the organisation. Through periods of change and ambiguity, you'll help teams adapt, deliver value and achieve sustainable outcomes.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need? 

Demonstrable experience of:

  • Maintaining Delivery Momentum: Ability to create an effective delivery ecosystem to ensure the successful delivery of digital projects, products and services using an agile approach.
  • Agile and Lean Practices: Coach and lead teams in agile and lean good practices. Create and tailor the right approach for a team. Act as a recognised expert and advocate for agile and lean approaches
  • Build High-Performing Teams: Develop and sustain high-performing teams with strong interpersonal relationships. Resolve conflicts constructively, create psychological safety and champion diversity and inclusion.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Communicate ethically and transparently, regularly demonstrating progress and managing expectations effectively.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Drive a culture of continuous learning and upskilling within the team(s). Take responsibility for your own professional development and understand and develop the skills and capabilities of the individuals in the team.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle Upon Tyne and Sheffield. whichever is most convenient for you.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £77,895.

Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%.

Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.

You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holiday.
