You will be a crucial part of the new and rapidly expanding Automation Team. We use a range of tools and platforms to maintain and continually improve our services and will lead a fast growing team, embarking on a programme of new projects as operational teams are made aware of the possibilities of Robotic Process Automation and other technologies we can provide.


Over to you...

As a Lead Automation Engineer you will take ownership over products, features and services your team look after. Some of the things you will be responsible for are:

  • leading the day to day activities of engineers in your team, ensuring everyone is working effectively and efficiently; reporting any impediments.
  • supporting capability build in your team and in the organisation
  • taking a hands-on role with engineering delivery when necessary, blending your leadership and technical tasks to achieve team objectives

Your passion for automation and software development will be a vital part of your role where you relish being involved throughout product lifecycle, from idea generation, design and prototyping to execution and shipping, whilst having experience in:

  • both software engineering and low-code engineering.
  • cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • working with senior stakeholders to unblock issues and ensure delivery stays on track.
  • ensuring that work delivered by teams is of high quality and that teams have a focus on continuous improvement.
