Launched in 2022, Digital Intelligence is part of BAE Systems, and has a rich heritage in helping to defend nations and businesses around the world from advanced threats. We are bringing together world-class digital, data and cyber capabilities from within the BAE Systems Group to deliver a greater digital advantage to our customers and partners.
Recruiting and Retaining Talent
Our ability to take on and solve our customers’ most complex and demanding engineering and technology challenges depends on the commitment, skills and talent of our people. To attract, recruit and retain people with the appropriate skills, we strive to create an inclusive, agile environment in which everyone can do their best work and feels valued for their contribution.
The skills, capabilities and commitment of our people are critical to ensuring the long-term sustainability of our business and delivering the innovation needed to solve our customers’ challenges. Therefore, our business is dependent on our ability to recruit and retain a committed workforce with the talent and skills needed to deliver excellence.
To succeed, we are taking a collaborative and future-focused approach to talent management and succession planning. This has facilitated a purposeful balance of internal talent moves and external hires into key strategic leadership roles, to strengthen our leadership teams and further enhance our talent pipeline across our markets and sectors.
We are embracing Hybrid Working. This means you and your colleagues may be working in different locations, such as from home, another BAE Systems office or client site, some or all of the time, and work might be going on at different times of the day.
By embracing technology, we can interact, collaborate and create together, even when we’re working remotely from one another. Hybrid Working allows for increased flexibility in when and where we work, helping us to balance our work and personal life more effectively, and enhance wellbeing.
Diversity & Inclusion
Our ambition is to be recognised as the leading employer in the defence and security sectors for valuing diversity and inclusion. We are also ambitious to:
Ensure that women make up at least 50% of our Executive Committee by 2030.
Increase representation of race, ethnicity, and gender in our workforce and across all our localities.
In the UK and by 2030 at the latest, our ambition is that more than 30% of our workforce will be women. This includes more women in senior grades and in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths roles.
We will continue to define our other ambitions with regards to diversity and inclusion.
Embracing cultural diversity and inclusion within our teams is vital to our business and success.
