Oscillate Recordings is a recording studio and post production studio, spanning two studios in Manchester’s Northern Quarter and Knutsford, Cheshire.
We specialise in precision quality recordings for bands, singer-songwriters, vocalists, voiceovers, post - production for film, TV, radio, SFX, mixing, mastering, composition and music tech tuition (Logic Pro and Ableton). We have world class studio equipment ranging from a Neve Genesys desk, extensive analogue outbaord gear Avid HDX, ATC 300 monitors and acoustically treated rooms by Roger Darcy.
We provide a recording solution to signed and unsigned artists, bands, record labels, film and radio companies, voice over artists, podcasts and animation companies.
Already in our first year we have acquired a prestigious client base including bands and artists such as The Courteeners, La Fontaines, Lucy Spraggan, BMG, Capitol Records and the post-production, SFX side with BBC, MTV and Telltale Games. We have also worked with Manchester companies, The Gates Films, Love Creative, Mighty Giant Animations, SLG agency and DJS Research.
We can also dry hire our studio to producers, remixers, dubbing engineers as well.
The organisation was set up in 2016 by Chris Hughes. He has had over 15 years within the industry and previously had a Northern Quarter studio called Oscillate Studio. We moved into a new space in Fourways House in the Northern Quarter to keep our Manchester central presence but also built a larger site in Knutsford, Cheshire.
