Learn the basic elements of 3D design in this beginner-friendly workshop using Blender, a free and open-source 3D creation software suite.

Dive into the world of 3D and create the iconic Blender Doughnut. This classic creation is perfect for getting comfortable with Blender's interface and core tools. By the end, you'll have a delicious-looking doughnut and a solid foundation for future 3D adventures!

Who’s this for?

  • Anyone curious about creative expression and exploring new artistic and digital avenues, aged 18 or above

What do you need to bring:

  • You’ll require access to a laptop that can connect to the internet and has Blender installed (you can download this for free here)
  • If you need to borrow a laptop, please let us know in the sign-up form so we can arrange one for you


This event is free to attend. We charge a £3 booking fee, which is refunded on attending the event. Or, if you prefer, you can leave it as a donation to MadLab CIC to support future community-led events. Refunds will be processed within seven working days. If you cannot afford a ticket, please email with your name and postcode, and we will be in touch.
