If you want to learn electronics, soldering will become an essential skill fairly early on.
In this introductory workshop you’ll learn to solder a basic kit (Drawdio: a pencil that lets you draw with music) as well as getting some background on the art of soldering. You’ll leave with a completed, working kit and the knowledge to continue soldering on your own.
Who is this course for?
Beginners are welcome! You don’t need to know anything about electronics, or which end of a soldering iron is which (although we’ll make sure you know that by the end of the session). People aged over 9 are welcome with an accompanying adult.
Equipment you’ll need
All equipment will be provided on the day, you just need to bring yourself.
What will you learn?
- Learn to solder a basic kit
