As part of National Careers Week, The Manchester College is hosting Industry Day 2026 to connect Greater Manchester’s digital and professional services employers with the next generation of talent.

This focused employer engagement event will bring together Computing, IT, Digital, Cybersecurity, Data, Business and Media learners (aged 16–18) to explore career pathways, emerging technologies, and routes into apprenticeships, placements and entry-level roles.

Industry Day is designed to bridge the gap between education and industry by giving students direct access to employers, real-world insight and practical career advice.

We welcome organisations across digital, creative and professional services sectors, including:

• Technology and digital product companies
• Cybersecurity, IT support and managed service providers
• Software development, data, AI and cloud businesses
• Digital marketing, media and creative agencies (including music and content production)
• Finance, accounting and financial services organisations
• HR, recruitment and people development teams
• Business, operations and management consultancies
• Employers offering industry placements, apprenticeships or structured early-careers pathways

Employer Participation Options:
• Host a stall to showcase your organisation and speak directly with students
• Deliver a short industry talk or masterclass
• Demonstrate tools, technologies or live projects
• Promote apprenticeship or placement opportunities
