Your Rewards

This is a very exciting time to join our business as this is an opportunity for you to really carve a niche and strong career path with GAIN LINE that will develop as the company continues to grow. You are not going to be a small cog in a large machine and you will be given the opportunity to really challenge yourself and flex your coding skills much more than in a larger development agency. When working with us, you’ll receive:

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Christmas and your birthday off
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Regular 1 to 1s with your manager
  • Flexible working hours to maintain a healthy work/life balance

Your Responsibilities

As a GAIN LINE Junior Developer you will work alongside our production team to support our existing systems as well as get the opportunity to work on new opportunities. You’ll work closely with our development team to gain an understanding of our systems and processes, with a view to increase your knowledge and experience on a daily basis.

  • Write clean and well designed PHP code
  • Troubleshoot, test and update your own code and others
  • Delivering work against deadlines that you have helped determine
  • Contribute towards client meetings to build your solutions

Your Skills & Experience

We have a startup mentality and with that, you’ll find that you might wear a few hats as the company develops. With this in mind, we are looking for go-getters with a resilient and entrepreneurial spirit who are not afraid to make mistakes albeit learn from them and move forward. Some key skills / character-traits we’d think you have are:

  • 1 – 2 years experience working with a LAMP stack

It would be an additional advantage if you had:

  • Laravel experience
