Manchester’s digitalThursday: Digital / Creative Networking is back!

Are you working in digital, Web, creative, fintech, Web3, startups or technology in Manchester? Are you a digital nomad in or around manchester? Well, it's been a while, but Manchester's digitalThursday is back!

Manchester, February 14, 2023: Manchester’s successful digital networking event digitalThursday (originally started in 2011 as mediaThursday, and run successfully for five years) is back!

digitalThursday, now with a more founder/startup, digital, innovation and tech-focused theme, will restart at 6pm on the 2 nd March 2023 at the offices of InfinityWorks/Accenture, at Floor 5, No. 2 Circle Square, 1 Symphony Park, (just off Oxford Road), Manchetser M1 7FS.

A pure networking event, with only a small number of (very) lightning talks, digitalThursday has always been about getting people together to talk and start meaningful relationships.

There will be investors, recruitment agencies and support organisations in attendance, creating a great atmosphere for innovators, startups and solo designers and developers alike.

Each event follows a successful format:

  • lightning talks (5 minutes)
  • 60 second personal elevator pitch / standups / announcment (arranged on the night)
  • A Founders Circle for AV presentations / pitches
  • Aquiet area of deeper chats
  • Networking and introductions, including a buddy system*

*The buddy system works by us pairing like-minded people who want to attend together, by introducing you before the event, and is ideal for those that may find networking a little scary at first, or after have been out of the face-to-face scene for a while.

Founder of digitalThursday and dotClassroom, Craig A. Taylor says: “After Covid, I decided it was time I had more face-to-face time in Manchester to talk digital, creative and media and build on the brilliant technology and startup scene in Manchester.

Manchester needs more face-to-face events like this. Id like to build a group that supports each other, attends events and lobbies for better places to do digital in Manchester. We'll be hearing from investors, successful businesses, and support services. I also want this to be a safe hub for digital nomads in Manchester.

I'm keen to find co-hosts and speakers; and I am really interested in entrepreneurs, startups and those pushing the tech and digital boundaries.” If you want to know more, head over to:
