Job description
You will:
- manage the transformation of the DDaT Capability Framework, a product that describes the digital, data and technology (DDaT) roles in government and the skills needed to do them
- work with a multidisciplinary team including a product manager, a content designer, a developer, two user researchers and a data analyst to ensure the redesigned DDaT Capability Framework meets user needs and government design principles
- plan the lifecycle delivery of the DDaT Capability Framework from beta into live
- define the team approach to delivery management, articulate the pace of research analysis and planning cycles in an iterative environment
- own and facilitate team ceremonies
- work with the product manager on prioritisation and backlog management
- support the delivery planning of a discovery on Senior Civil Service (SCS) professionals and how to embed their skills into the existing capability framework. identify efficiencies in the team’s ways of working, its stakeholders management plans and how we manage our relationships with professional communities across government.
Person specification
You will:
- have experience delivering agile projects in a fast-paced environment, though different phases of delivery, amid ambiguity and changing priorities
- have an understanding of how to prioritise the most important or high value tasks. You will use data to inform planning and manage complex dependencies
- identify blockers, manage and track the mitigation of risks
- build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, advocate on behalf of a team and communicate clearly what it does

Selection process details
The standard selection process for roles at CDDO consists of:
- a simple application screening process - We only ask for a CV and cover letter of up to 750 words. Important tip - please ensure that your cover letter includes how you meet the skills and experience listed in the “person specification” section above
- a 60 minute video interview
Depending on how many applications we get, there might also be an extra stage before the video interview, for example a phone interview or a technical exercise.
