The Digital Analytics Manager will drive our analytics and tracking service to help them identify KPIs and how they can be measured.

What will my day look like?

We are looking for a Digital Analytics Manager who lives and breathes data. You’ll have the opportunity to work on some really exciting projects with a diverse range of clients. You will discuss a client’s current pain points to help identify their business goals and ultimately define their KPIs.

This will be your main driver for creating a measurement plan, which will help you define what needs to be tracked. You will then also need to be able to discuss with a developer what you’d like to track and help with the implementation. So having oversight from start to finish is crucial.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead discovery calls to understand a client’s current analytics architecture and understand their end goals

  • Translate this into business KPIs, metrics and a tagging specifications to inform development and tracking activity

  • Implementation of third party software using tagging in GTM

  • Implementation of consent management platforms to ensure our clients are compliant with cookie legislation

  • Set up of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 for clients

  • Ability to scope out, document and implement tagging specs based on a client’s requirements

  • Comfortable speaking with clients and being client facing

  • Familiar with server-side tracking such as Facebook CAPI or server-side GTM

  • Developers/other stakeholders

Requirements:
  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager experience, for both apps and websites

  • Experience with GA4

  • Google Data Studio creation and integration experience

  • BigQuery - ideal but not essential

  • Ability to gather data analysis and insights from client’s GA accounts

  • JavaScript knowledge for complex data collection in GTM

  • Multiple CMP experience such as OneTrust, Cookiebot, Civic, etc.

  • Ability to audit a client’s GA/GTM account

  • Process documentation and ability to easily explain complex tracking situations with developers to get the relevant dataLayer information set up

  • Ability to write tagging specifications

  • Strong debugging skills

  • Ability to coach or train other members of the team, as well as clients

  • Other Analytics platform experience such as Adobe Analytics, Piwik Pro or Matamo ideal but not essential
