At DfE, we’re transforming how the government provides services for young people, teachers, schools, and teacher training providers. Our services are built and run by diverse, multi-disciplinary teams, and we are looking for new senior business analysts to join us.

Teacher Services
The Teacher Services Team is dedicated to transforming how people become teachers and are then supported during their careers. Guided by the teacher recruitment and retention strategy, we care about the way we work, how we treat each other, the quality of our services, and making a difference to teachers’ lives. Working with us will mean you are part of the team responsible for improving the experiences of 35,000 entrants into teacher training every year.

About the teams
You will work on the Get Into Teaching and Becoming a Teacher service line, where we’re transforming how people consider teaching as a career choice, apply for training, and then become teachers. As part of this transformation, we’re bringing services in-house to improve our users’ experiences and enable us to better inform policy decisions.

The services that you might be working on include: Get into teaching. or find post graduate teacher training courses.

We’re looking for people who are passionate about encouraging more great people to become teachers. We want people who believe that how you work is as important as what you deliver.

You will be empathetic, able to summarise complex issues succinctly, and have a passion for using data to understand users.
