The Client & Culture
Our client are an established FinTech company in Greater Manchester who are building a platform that connects customers, lenders and dealers. They have a very strong history and are industry leaders in this space, with over 300 employees across two offices! Everyone in the team contributes to the best engineering practices, technical direction and architecture.
You'll be joining a cross function product-based squad with a good mix of lead developers, seniors, junior/mid software engineers. They have a company wide meeting on a regular basis to share progress on deliverables. Each squad will be responsible for all aspects of the product they work on from ideation, deployment through to maintenance. The Role & Projects
A pivotal part of the role will be developing new features for the core platform. Currently the team is working on a full migration into the cloud so as to improve the customer buying journey. They are a dynamic team so there's always a lot to do so you'll get a lot of variety and you'll never be bored just doing BAU and bug fixes. Some of your responsibilities will be:
- Using TDD to deliver quality code
- Producing new features for the core platform
- Automating with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge sharing with the team
- Sprint planning
- Driving good engineering practices in the team
- Conducting code reviews and paired programming sessions
The Tech Stack
The list below is all of the tech they use in the team. C# .NET Core and AWS or Azure are key skills however so unfortunately it is unlikely we can consider anyone without commercial experience or no C# .NET Core and AWS or Azure experience.

Salary & Benefits
This role is paying between £55,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience. They are fully remote now but are looking to stay with 2 days remote a week in future.
