Mid-Senior PHP Web Developer

Mojofuel (Mojo) are looking to recruit an experienced PHP web developer to join the team. Working at Mojo provides a varied and challenging career working with brands and businesses to create innovative and exciting user experiences.

We’re looking for someone interested in a day to day workload mainly focusing on developing bespoke web applications, but also testing new and emerging web technology to keep us at the top of our game. You will need to demonstrate an understanding of the importance of web development principles and produce high quality solutions that are suitable for commercial output.

The ideal candidate needs to have at least 3+ years of PHP commercial experience with the desire to constantly improve. Predominantly using the following technologies to write tested code for assigned projects;

Essential Skills/Knowledge

  • PHP including previous exposure to MVC frameworks
  • Performance and Optimisation
  • HTML5
  • Javascript including jQuery framework
  • Version control systems such as Git 
  • Unit testing
  • Attention to detail, with a can-do attitude.

Beneficial Skills/Knowledge

  • Propel ORM
  • Bootstrap / Foundation CSS frameworks
  • CMS/Ecommerce platforms (e.g. Wordpress, Shopify)

Examples of past work or a portfolio demonstrating any prototypes or projects that you have developed would also be an advantage.

Salary dependent on experience - £35-40k
