In late 2017 the creative agency Battalion made the big step to move their headquarters from Berlin to Manchester with a second studio remaining in the German capital. The agency, founded in 2012, has always put internationality, flexibility and innovation at the heart of everything they do. This is also reflected in their team and talent base working with experts from over six different countries from all over the world. With their move to Manchester, they have now established presences in two of Europe’s most creative hubs. Battalion are specialising in digital product design, brand development and content creation for start-ups but are also working with some reputable, big international clients such as Daimler, SoundCloud and Hello Fresh. Their new Manchester headquarters are now based in the extremely popular coworking space WeWork No 1 Spinningfields. Founder Katy Rea says: ‘It feels so good to have a new home for Battalion in Manchester. I am looking forward to working with the exceptional creative talent here and to get involved in Manchester’s growing innovation and technology scene”. Working with freelance designers and developers from all over the world, Battalion are now keen to expand their talent pool and get to know the Manchester creative community to work with some brilliant freelance designers, UX/UI designers, developers, animators, illustrators etc.
