The new site for Garsdale Cottages is now live. Built on the open-source "Chobble Template", the site integrates with FreeToBook to let visitors check availability and book online straight through the site.
The cooperative has two members initially but aims to expand to include any like-minded holiday letter in the local area, targeting property owners frustrated at high fees and opague pricing from the established players in the holiday let booking industry.
By focusing on the specifics of holidays in Garsdale, the site aims to provide a more personal and useful resource to visitors than the nationwide sites or SEO-keyword-stuffed landing page sites that currently dominate search results.
