Manchester-based creative-led marketing communications agency Jam has been appointed by Bruntwood SciTech to lead the launch and ongoing development of its new TikTok channel.
The partnership will see Jam develop the channel’s strategy, creative direction, and ongoing content production, translating Bruntwood SciTech’s wider brand and social strategy into platform-native content that brings its spaces, people, businesses, and communities to life for start-ups, scale-ups and enterprise businesses.
Bruntwood SciTech, the UK’s leading property provider dedicated to the science, technology, and innovation sectors, operates across 10 major campus locations and 28 innovation hubs. The business is now expanding its social presence as part of a wider drive to reach businesses and founders on the platforms where they increasingly discover brands, ideas, and communities.
Working as an extension of Bruntwood SciTech’s internal team, Jam will develop content centred around the people, places, and expertise within its innovation ecosystem, with a particular focus on creating for the behaviours and formats native to TikTok rather than repurposing content from other channels.
Jam was selected following its strategic and creative approach to the brief, combining an understanding of Bruntwood SciTech’s complex B2B audiences with experience creating social content designed specifically around how people consume and engage with individual platforms.
Jaime Gee, co-founder and managing director at Jam, said: “Bruntwood SciTech already has everything you want from a content perspective: brilliant spaces, ambitious businesses, interesting people, and genuinely exciting things happening across its communities. The opportunity is to translate all of that into content that feels completely natural to TikTok.
“B2B social doesn’t need to feel corporate. Founders and decision-makers are consuming the same fast-paced, personality-led content as everyone else, so brands need to earn their attention in the same way.
“We’re really excited to work closely with the Bruntwood SciTech team to build a channel that feels human, useful, and entertaining, while showcasing the people and businesses behind its innovation ecosystem.”
Fadeke Ifebajo, Senior Social Media Executive at Bruntwood SciTech, said: “We have incredibly vibrant communities and workspaces across the Bruntwood SciTech portfolio, with innovative businesses, founders, and teams doing exciting work every day. TikTok gives us another way to tell those stories and showcase what being part of our ecosystem is really like.
“Jam really understood that we didn’t simply want to replicate content from our other social channels. Their approach is rooted in creating specifically for the platform, while retaining the personality and expertise behind the Bruntwood SciTech brand.
“We’re looking forward to building the channel together and introducing Bruntwood SciTech to new audiences in a more immediate and engaging way.”
The appointment follows a series of social and digital briefs for Jam, including its recent appointment by digital learning platform MyoLearn to lead its social strategy and launch across LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube. It also builds on the agency’s award-winning social credentials, including a 2026 UK Digital Excellence Award for Standout Use of TikTok, a Northern Digital Award for Best Use of Social Media, and Silver for Social Media Campaign at the 2026 PRMoment Awards.
Together, the wins reflect Jam’s growing focus on helping brands move beyond traditional corporate social content through a combination of audience insight, platform-specific strategy and creative production.
