Press - Mason Advisory consultants named as finalists in 2025 MCA Awards

We’re proud to announce that two of our outstanding consultants have been named finalists in the prestigious 2025 Management Consultancies Association (MCA) Awards, which celebrate the exceptional work being delivered across the UK’s consulting sector.

This year, our talented individuals have been shortlisted in two highly competitive categories:

  • Chris Good – finalist in the Thought Leader Consultant of the Year category
  • Paul Atherton – finalist in the Team Leader Consultant of the Year category

Chris Good shared his thoughts on being recognised: “I’ve never really seen myself as a ‘thought leader’ in the traditional sense, so it’s a genuine honour to be recognised in this way. For me, it’s always been about making things real and practical, asking the right questions to keep up to date with the latest industry trends, and helping clients make meaningful, lasting improvements.”

Paul Atherton also reflected on the recognition: “As the Team Leader award category, making the finals is really a great reflection of the dedication and creativity all of our teams bring to each and every client engagement. I have been really privileged to lead and work with a wide range of teams across the firm, and this is a great reflection of the way we all work together to make a real difference to our clients every day.”

Paul Pugh, CEO at Mason Advisory, commented: “Being shortlisted for these prestigious individual categories is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the talent and commitment of our consultants. I’m proud of the way they exemplify our values and deliver outstanding results for our clients every day.”

The MCA Awards highlight the positive impact of consulting on society, the economy, and the success of organisations across the UK. We look forward to joining our peers at the ceremony in November to celebrate the achievements of all the finalists.
