A Decade of difference: Reflecting on Naimuri’s 2025
2025 was a landmark year for us. Not only did we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible with data and tech, but we also celebrated a major milestone: 10 years of Naimuri.
Looking back over the last decade, it’s clear that our growth isn't just about numbers; it’s about the tangible impact we’re having on the world around us.
From our roots in the North West to growing our footprint across the UK, 2025 was the year where our mission-led approach really came to life.
Here is a look at the moments that defined our tenth year….
Tech for a safer world
Our expertise has always been about solving the most complex challenges to make the UK a safer and better place to be.
In 2025, we took proof-of-concept ideas and scaled them into national assets.
- Partnering with ACE, we’ve pioneered deepfake detection tools to protect the truth and safeguard vulnerable communities from digital disinformation.
- We were delighted to participate in the launch of the Lancaster Policing Academic Centre of Excellence (L-PACE). Our Sector Lead, Eddie Newton, shared insights on the network challenges ahead, emphasising that the path to transformation lies in the collaboration between academia, industry, and policing.
- In the realm of aviation safety, we helped to significantly enhance APHIDS, a specialised Security Pass Data Sharing System for UK Airports - by continuing to transform a previously slow, manual vetting process into a secure, digitally-robust operation.
- Our presence at DSEI highlighted how Naimuri acts as a bridge, helping traditional sectors adopt cutting-edge data solutions without losing operational stability.
AI, collaboration and secure by design.
We believe that the best way to predict the future is to help build it.
This year, we moved beyond just doing tech to actively shaping the industry’s direction.
- 2025 saw the launch of an AI Special Interest Group (hosted and facilitated by Naimuri) through our work with the North West Regional Defence and Security Cluster (NWRDSC) - a forum designed to bridge the gap between emerging technology and real-world application.
- At CyberUK 25, we joined the national conversation on digital resilience. Our key takeaway: Security isn't just about the tech, it's about building secure by design systems that can withstand the evolving pressures of the modern world.
- We were proud to host the ACE Community Roadshow at our Manchester HQ. This wasn't just a meeting; it was a high-energy collaboration hub of like-minded people passionate about making change and solving problems.
A Powerhouse for the North
Our roots remain our strength, and this year, that regional leadership was officially recognised.
- We celebrated the first anniversary of the Northwest Regional Defence and Security Cluster (NWRDSC), which has become a vital catalyst for the North, bridging the gap between industry, academia, and government.
- We were incredibly proud to see Naimuri’s MD announced as a Northern Leader, a testament to our commitment to driving growth and high-value tech jobs in the North.
- Our week at the Manchester Tech Festival was a masterclass in collaboration. It wasn't just about attending sessions; it was about fostering a community. We attended events that brought together developers, strategists, and innovators. A standout moment was hearing from NASA speakers, whose insights reminded us that the best solutions come when you pair bold vision with grounded, collaborative networking.
Culture as a Catalyst
Naimuri is, and always has been, powered by its people. In 2025, we focused on continuing to make our workplace as supportive as it is innovative.
- Our trophy cabinet grew this year, a clear sign that our commitment to diversity is a key strength. This was reflected in the numerous awards won by our team members, including awards at the LGBTQ+ Defence Awards, the Change Awards, and one of our graduates being named in the Women in Tech 100.
We have consistently prioritised finding individuals who align with our mission, which has been key in enhancing our workplace culture. The principle of 'character over competence' remains a core factor in our recent appointments to the Naimuri team.- Mental health is a priority, not an afterthought at Naimuri. We were honoured to welcome Andy’s Man Club to our Manchester HQ, facilitating vital conversations about wellbeing and support within our team.
- We continued to refine our autism-friendly hiring processes and ran deep-dive workshops on Psychological Safety and Kindness in the Workplace.
Scaling and Sustainably
- The Naimuri team has grown this year and we have recruited into teams in London and Manchester, all while keeping that start-up culture that has defined us for ten years.
- We published our updated Carbon Reduction Plan, outlining our dedicated path toward Net Zero by 2050.
Looking Ahead to 2026
Our tenth anniversary in 2025 reinforced Naimuri's founding purpose: to make the UK a safer and better place.
Heading into 2026, we remain committed to this mission. Our strategic focus will be on maturing our offering, broadening our impact, strengthening our culture, and growing a team driven by this shared purpose.
A sincere thank you to everyone who has joined and supported us throughout this journey.Wishing you all a happy festive period and a wonderful 2026!
