The hack is back! Join us on this three-day virtual event as we ‘hack’ solutions to one of the country’s biggest digital challenges right now – employment following COVID-19.


About this event

This is your chance to collaborate with digital professionals from across the tech sector to develop innovative solutions that could help job seekers back into work.


What's the challenge?

COVID-19 has had a major impact on the UK jobs market resulting in millions of people being left unemployed. Almost two thirds of people who lost their jobs are under the age of 25.

Using your skills along with innovation and new technologies you’ll create solutions that could help jobseekers to identify and access employment.

Jobcentre staff, digital tech specialists and DWP colleagues will be on hand to share insights and identify gaps to inspire you. Your end solutions could potentially be adopted to help jobseekers find work.


Why should I attend?

This is a great opportunity to work a problem for social good. Along with putting your skills to the test, you’ll get to create, network and share knowledge with a wide range of digital peers.

We also have exciting evening entertainment, such as Crystal Maze and an interactive magic show. There’s lots of cool swag to give away from us and our sponsors. And, of course, there’s the prize for the best solution as well as runner-up prizes!
