Let me tell you a little more about Special Effect, their simple aim is to 'help people with disabilities to enjoy video games', that is of course hard to achieve without some serious funding. They work with many different organisations and run event throughout the year (Biggest being GameBlast and One Special Day) to try and achieve their aims and have had some amazing success stories.

The reason we are hosting this is not only because we LOVE the work Special Effect are doing but we really feel like VR can make a massive difference in these people's lives. As VR is naturally a lot more inclusive for people with may different disabilities than any other form of gaming. Here at SO VR we are trying to build a community of people not a conveyor belt, this includes every single community and being able give access to all walks of life is our main goal!
