We would like to invite you to an evening with Ian Kelso, CEO and a founding director of the Canadian Interactive Alliance, the voice of Canada's regional interactive media trade associations representing over 1000 companies from coast to coast.

Ian will share knowledge and experience, highlighting where there are opportunities for North West companies in the interactive, gaming, and transmedia markets in Canada and how to take advantage of international collaborations.

• Overview of the console, PC gaming, mobile game and gameware development industry in Canada.
• Contrast of Transmedia in the UK and Canada.
• Taking advantage of trends and opportunities with Transmedia.
• What the UK can learn from the experiences and public policy approaches of counterparts in Canada and the US.
• Effective exploitation of IP in new territories.
• Using international co‐operation and co‐production ‐ used extensively in television and film ‐ and the impact it could have  on your production.

The event will be on Monday, March 26^th  at the Manchester Digital Development Agency, 117 - 119 Portland Street, Manchester, from 6pm with drinks and a buffet and will finish at 8pm.
