This is an opportunity to work on services that impact millions of people every day, helping improve how users interact with essential public services.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead and deliver end-to-end user research, supporting service teams to better understand user needs and improve outcomes.
This includes planning and running research, analysing findings, and turning insights into clear, actionable recommendations that influence product and design decisions. You’ll also champion inclusive research, ensuring services work for all users.
Alongside this, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to embed user-centred design across delivery.
What we’re looking for
• Experience delivering end-to-end user research within digital or service teams
• Strong knowledge of research methods (e.g. usability testing, interviews, surveys, remote research)
• Ability to analyse and synthesise findings into clear, actionable insights
• Experience conducting inclusive and accessible research
• Confidence influencing stakeholders and advocating for user needs
• Background in user research or a related discipline (e.g. service design, HCI, psychology)
