The Government Digital Service (GDS), part of the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, is hiring a Communications and Engagement Lead to help shape how digital and cyber capability is communicated across government and beyond.

Salary: £56,850 - £68,570

About the role
You’ll sit at the centre of the Digital and Cyber Capability team, leading a specialist team to deliver high-impact campaigns and engagement activity. From developing profession-wide brand standards to designing innovative digital campaigns, your work will help attract, retain and grow digital talent across government.
You’ll also play a key role in delivering against the Prime Minister’s ambition to grow the digital workforce, shaping how we engage both internal and external audiences.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading major campaigns that turn complex workforce priorities into clear, engaging content
- Developing a strong, consistent brand across digital and cyber professions
- Driving international engagement, including events and forums
- Designing multi-channel strategies to reach new and diverse talent pools
- Managing and building a high-performing communications team
