The Cyber Resilience Centre for Greater Manchester is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to enhance and develop its profile through the delivery of exciting marketing campaigns, social media platforms and communications with members.

The Cyber Resilience Centre (CRC) is a non-profit organisation which exists to support and help protect Greater Manchester businesses. Its unique connection to Law Enforcement though Greater Manchester Police means it has  exclusive access to the latest information on legislation, criminal trends and threats and can provide the very best advice to safeguard businesses. It offers a wide range of business resilience services, delivered by an expert team of trusted professionals, seconded Police Officers and ethical hacking students from local universities. We work in partnership to protect people, places and processes and we are constantly looking at new ways to keep businesses free from risk.

This career opportunity will suit a highly motivated, self-starter with a good understanding of the digital and technology sector in Greater Manchester who thrives in a fast-paced  environment. This role is key to helping us to attract new members, keeping our current members informed and to ensure that businesses across Greater Manchester are aware of the importance of protecting their businesses from online crime.

The role will involve:

  • Creating and delivering the marketing strategy

  • Proofreading

  • Developing website, email and other marketing content

  • Event promotion through social media networks 

  • Using social media to increase engagement and influence

  • Creating newsletters and other mailers 

  • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns 

  • Monitoring effectiveness of campaigns 

  • Writing and optimising content for the newsletter, website and social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter

  • Tracking and analysing website traffic and providing regular internal reports

  • Continually working on search engine optimization of the website(s)

  • Editing and posting videos, podcasts and audio content to online sites

  • Marketing support at Cyber Resilience Centre events, to help with event streaming, social media, interviews etc. 

Required

  • At least 12 months of marketing experience

  • Creative and solution focussed

  • Excellent editing and copywriting skills

  • Video editing skills 

  • Some knowledge of HTML/JavaScript and an understanding of search engine optimisation.

  • The ability to organise and prioritise own workload

  • Understanding of all social platforms and how to use them effectively

The salary band is £25k - £30k depending on experience.
