Manchester-based comms and PR consultancy Duo Consulting has made a strong start to 2026, with award shortlistings and new client projects that play to its international strengths.
The business is a finalist for Micro Agency of the Year at the PRmoment Awards, which celebrate excellence and recognise outstanding campaigns and exceptional talent across the UK PR and communications sector. Duo’s entry highlighted its role in supporting international businesses to enter and scale in the UK market, as well as its agile, senior-led team approach.
The shortlisting coincides with a series of new project briefs from international companies entering and scaling in the UK. These include Australian-founded Lorikeet, an AI concierge reinventing customer experience in regulated industries; Mint Payments, a travel industry payments specialist also headquartered in Australia with a UK expansion strategy; and Aiper, a Chinese consumer electronics firm that has sold three million smart garden products globally.

The PRmoment agency award shortlisting follows Dan Sheridan’s recent shortlisting for Emerging Entrepreneur Leader and Marketing Leader at the 2026 North West Leadership Awards. Last October, Duo – which works with clients including SafetyCulture, Vypr, and Manchester Building Society – was named Micro Business of the Year at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce’s 2025 Excellence Awards.
