Manchester-based ecommerce agency Pixel Kicks has designed and developed a new Shopify store for Luna Furniture, a Manchester-based retailer of premium sofas and contemporary home furnishings.
Luna Furniture approached Pixel Kicks ahead of its launch as a new business, needing an ecommerce platform capable of establishing trust and credibility in a competitive market without the benefit of an existing customer base or brand recognition.
Pixel Kicks designed and built a bespoke Shopify store combining premium design with an intuitive customer journey, using rich photography and custom video content throughout the site to showcase products and help customers buy with confidence in higher-value purchases made online.
The build included postcode-based delivery pricing rules, dedicated content pages and FAQs to address common customer questions, and a shopping experience optimised across mobile and tablet devices.
Chris Buckley, Managing Director at Pixel Kicks, said: "Launching a new ecommerce brand comes with a specific challenge - there's no existing reputation to lean on, so the website itself has to do a lot of the trust-building work that would normally come from reviews or word of mouth. For Luna, that meant putting real weight behind the visual side of the site, so customers could get close to the product before they'd even set foot near a delivery van."
Luna Furniture is now live, giving the business a platform to build its brand, attract new customers and grow online sales as it establishes itself in the market.
