The Marketing Leadership Programme is a seven-week, live online course for Senior Marketing Managers, Heads of Marketing and experienced marketers preparing to step into Marketing Director or CMO-level roles.
Led by James McCracken FCIM, practising Fractional CMO and Chair of CIM North West, the programme focuses on the commercial, strategic and leadership skills senior marketers need in practice.
Across seven weekly sessions, participants will explore:
- Personal development and career planning
- Professional networks and stakeholder relationships
- Conflict resolution and influencing skills
- Building and leading an effective marketing team
- Brand strategy and communication
- Data, budgets, ROI and business cases
- Leadership style, accountability and organisational alignment
The programme includes 14 hours of CPD-certified learning and is delivered through live, tutor-led sessions rather than recorded content. Cohorts are limited to ten participants, allowing time for discussion, feedback and practical application.
Previous participants have used the programme to build their confidence, strengthen their strategic thinking and progress into more senior marketing positions.
The next cohort begins on Thursday 8 October 2026, with sessions running online from 7pm to 9pm for seven weeks.
