The Atkins-led workshop covers the use of video games-based technologies with cyber training exercising, discussing the opportunities for improved visualisation and immersion to better understand the real-world impacts of decisions made in the digital environment.
On display will be examples of technology use including Virtual Battlespace 4, a world-leading 3D synthetic environment evolved from the successful mil-sim video games series “Arma”.
Our training and simulation experts will outline the challenges of integrating commercial games technologies with those used for cyber training, the skills necessary to overcome these challenges and deliver successful skills development, and a look at the future of cyber training delivery.
Our Professional Development sessions, part of the Digital Skills Festival, are free to attend and aimed at anybody working across Greater Manchester's digital and tech sector who is looking to enhance their knowledge or upskill. The sessions will be delivered virtually.
