You will collaborate with seniors and own Application Development Lifecycle Process as part of a delivery team focused on one or more products.

This is a really exciting opportunity to join a newly formed team and help deliver the strategy for Low Code/Power App services in DWP.

This role is for a PowerPlatform Working level Engineer.

You will be working in an agile environment reporting to a Senior Application Engineer Manager working alongside other application engineers and roles within a delivery squad (Delivery Manager, BAs, Dev Ops, Architects and Testers).

You will form part of a team of engineers to support applications which have been built using PowerApps and Power Automate, as well as converting old systems into low code applications and building new applications from scratch.

This is a new area for DWP, so successful applicants will be part of this exciting opportunity from the beginning and help shape the future of low code for the Department.

You will have line management responsibility for Application Engineers Apprentices.

You will engage and work with a number of Stakeholders from within DWP Digital and the wider DWP.

You will also be required to present at Show and Tells or start the journey to build confidence in this area.

This job role may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in their DWP office and part of the week from home.
