This role is an opportunity to work on high-profile GOV.UK content that helps the public understand energy policy, access services, and engage with one of the government’s most important priorities.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead on creating and improving user-centred content for GOV.UK, ensuring it is clear, accessible and easy to use.
Working across a range of teams, you’ll manage both day-to-day publishing and strategic projects, helping shape content that supports complex policies and services. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, guide teams on best practice, and continuously improve the quality and consistency of content across the department.
What we’re looking for
• Strong experience designing and writing user-centred content for GOV.UK (essential)
• Deep understanding of content design best practice and accessibility standards
• Ability to manage and improve content quality across complex services
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Confidence guiding others, providing feedback, and influencing decisions
• Experience working across multidisciplinary teams and delivering at pace
