Friends of Stretford Public Hall are looking to appoint a part-time Digital Skills project coordinator, to develop a digital outreach project at Stretford Public Hall. 

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for delivering the Stret-Net project, a pilot project aimed at tackling digital exclusion in Stretford. The aim of the project is to help more people in the community to access the Internet and digital services.

The project coordinator will be responsible for developing the project, recruiting volunteers, and working alongside staff at Stretford Public Hall, to develop the hall’s Online Centre activities. The post will be based at Stretford Public Hall and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.  

We’re looking for a self-motivated, organised, and friendly individual to develop the project. The successful candidate will be passionate about the positive role that digital skills can play in people’s lives.

Hours:       15 hours per week (0.4 FTE)
Duration:  Fixed term contract, until April 2021

Deadline:  Friday 4th December 2020
Interviews: Thursday 10th / Friday 11th December 2020
