Tao Digital Marketing celebrate making shortlist for Made in Manchester Awards

Bolton-based agency Tao Digital Marketing is celebrating after being shortlisted in two categories at the Made in Manchester Awards.

Chloe Mitchell, the company’s Senior Marketing Strategist, is nominated for the ‘Manager of the Year’ award and Joe Harulow, Paid Ads Specialist, is shortlisted in the ‘Marketing & Creative Professional of the Year Award’ category.

Despite being launched just three years ago, Tao Digital Marketing is rapidly making its mark.

It has racked up seven awards nominations in the past four months, including:

  • Global Marketing Awards: Global PPC Campaign with Hilton Smythe

  • Global Marketing Awards: Global B2B Campaign with Fleetcover

  • UK Digital Growth Awards: B2B PPC Campaign of the Year with Hilton Smythe

  • UK Digital Growth Awards: B2B SEO Campaign of the Year with Fleetcover

  • UK Search Awards: Best Low Budget SEO Campaign with Fleetcover

  • Made in Manchester Awards: Chloe Mitchell for Manager of the Year

  • Made in Manchester Awards: Joe Harulow for Marketing and Creative Professional of the Year

Founder Matt Tomkin said: “This has been the first year we have dipped our toe into the world of awards as we feel we now have strong case studies to show what we are capable of.

“It’s a shame that we narrowly missed out on winning the first five nominations, but to get seven nominations is absolutely incredible.

“It is fantastic that we are gaining recognition from huge awards bodies. Our hard work is really paying off.”

In an email to those shortlisted, Made in Manchester said this week: “To be shortlisted for a MiMA is a tremendous achievement in itself. A record-breaking year has meant we have a record-breaking number of young professionals on our shortlist.”

Chloe said: “I’m so proud to be a part of this amazing team, and truly honoured to be shortlisted.

“I joined just over a year ago and the business has grown so quickly. I’m excited to see what the future holds.”

Joe Harulow added: “I’ve never been shortlisted for an award before, so it’s really nice to be acknowledged for the work I do.

“Having been the first full-time employee at Tao, it’s been brilliant to watch the team go from strength to strength and now being nominated for awards.”

The Made in Manchester Awards will take place virtually from 6:30pm on Thursday 4th February 2021.
