Our BTEC students have recently completed an exciting 2-day Web Development Bootcamp hosted by SharpFutures, where they built single-page websites for fictional digital agencies.
Working in teams, they showcased skills in web design, branding, SEO, and UX — using GitHub and Visual Studio Code.
Each team brought their creativity and technical skills to life by designing sites that included:
- Eye-catching hero banners
- Agency overviews with services like Web Development, Social Media Management, and Graphic Design
- Team bios and skill showcases
- Case studies demonstrating real-world application of their skills
- Contact sections with forms and business details
The project wrapped with presentations to SharpFutures' Senior Web Developper team, giving students valuable industry feedback and a real-world experience in digital collaboration.
