Digital Skills Festival 2023: Professional Development Sessions Announced

Manchester Digital’s week-long Digital Skills Festival returns on Monday, 6th February 2023. 

In partnership with our sponsors and Manchester Digital members, we will be delivering two days of virtual workshops, masterclasses and taster sessions aimed at industry professionals. 

Sessions are free to attend and open to any industry professional looking to hone their skills, share knowledge and learn from their peers. Students, recent graduates or those considering a career move into the digital and tech sector are also welcome to attend. All sessions will be delivered as webinars.

Cyber Training with Gaming Integration

Thursday, 9th February 2023

13.00 - 15.00

Join Atkins for a workshop covering and challenges of integrating commercial games technologies with those used for cyber training.



What is Product Engineering? Enhancing & Saving Lives
 
Thursday, 9th February 2023

14.00 - 16.00

Join GlobalLogic for an interactive professional development session on "What is Product Engineering? – Enhancing & Saving Lives" hosted by Andy Tebb, Engineering Centre Director.



Data Engineering with Azure Cloud

Friday, 10th February 2023

11.00 - 13.00

Join Zuhlke for an interactive professional development session on Data Engineering with Azure Cloud hosted by Sudhanshu Raj, Senior Data Engineer.



Data Chatter Vs. Data Charter
Friday, 10th February 2023
13.00 - 15.00

Manchester City Council host a session around practical steps towards ethical data management – this session will look at how we think more ethically about the use of data and how that will link into the development of the Manchester Data Charter.

The Digital Skills Festival takes place between Monday 6th - Friday 10th February 2023, bringing together employers, job seekers, career changers, as well as schools and colleges for a week-long celebration of the North West’s tech industry.
