Last week, our team had the amazing chance to connect in person with the Venture Café global network at Global Gathering 2026. Walking into a space buzzing with over 1,200 innovators, creators, and ecosystem builders, you could really feel the energy, it was impossible not to get inspired!
The day was full of conversations, bold ideas, and meaningful connections. Founders, students, and changemakers from around the world came together to share, learn, and collaborate, a real reminder of the power of community.
A standout moment for us was seeing Travis Ralph-Donaldson, our regional Pitch2Tokyo winner, representing Manchester on the global stage with his startup Niter Ltd, revolutionising speech recognition with AI. It was a proud moment showing how our local ecosystem connects to the world.
Events like this aren’t just about ideas, they’re about people, connections and shared energy. We left inspired and excited to keep building bridges here in Manchester and beyond.
