Delivery Manager - Ministry of Defence - HEO

Location: Andover

What is this role?

This is a Delivery Manager role leading Agile teams that build and deliver digital software used by the Army.

You’ll work within the Army Software House (ASH), a specialist organisation designing and delivering bespoke digital products that support the Army’s modernisation and transformation.

What you’ll be doing

As a Delivery Manager, you will:

• Lead Agile delivery teams from discovery through to live service
• Remove blockers and keep delivery moving at pace
• Manage suppliers, contracts and delivery risks
• Work with senior stakeholders across the Army and MOD
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle
• Improve delivery processes and ways of working
• Report clearly on progress, risks and dependencies

You’ll be trusted to lead high‑impact, high‑responsibility programmes.

Who this role is for

• Have experience delivering digital or IT projects

You don’t need military experience, delivery expertise is what matters.

Skills & background (high level)

We’re looking for experience in areas such as:

• Delivery management in digital or IT environments
• Agile ways of working (Scrum, Lean, etc.)
• Stakeholder and supplier management
• Governance, controls and value‑for‑money delivery

Knowledge of cloud, DevOps or Defence environments is a bonus, not essential.

• Based in Andover with hybrid working
