What is this role?
This is a Delivery Manager role leading Agile teams that build and deliver digital software used by the Army.
You’ll work within the Army Software House (ASH), a specialist organisation designing and delivering bespoke digital products that support the Army’s modernisation and transformation.

What you’ll be doing
As a Delivery Manager, you will:
- Lead Agile delivery teams from discovery through to live service
- Remove blockers and keep delivery moving at pace
- Manage suppliers, contracts and delivery risks
- Work with senior stakeholders across the Army and MOD
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle
- Improve delivery processes and ways of working
- Report clearly on progress, risks and dependencies
You’ll be trusted to lead high‑impact, high‑responsibility programmes.
Who this role is for

- Have experience delivering digital or IT projects
- Are comfortable leading Agile or Scrum teams
- Can manage suppliers and complex stakeholder landscapes

- Like improving systems, processes and delivery outcomes
You don’t need military experience, delivery expertise is what matters.
Skills & background (high level)
We’re looking for experience in areas such as:
- Delivery management in digital or IT environments
- Agile ways of working (Scrum, Lean, etc.)
- Stakeholder and supplier management
- Governance, controls and value‑for‑money delivery
Knowledge of cloud, DevOps or Defence environments is a bonus, not essential.

- Based in Andover with hybrid working
