We are delighted to announce that DrupalCamp England returns in 2026 with a broader ambition and a wider audience firmly in mind. Following the success of the inaugural event in Cambridge, the community-led conference will take place at the University of Salford, Manchester, from 28 February to 1 March 2026.

The 1xINTERNET Manchester team are co-organising DrupalCamp England 2026, bringing their experience from agency delivery and client-side collaboration into one of the UK’s key open source digital events.
Not just for techies
For agencies, consultants and digital teams, DrupalCamp England offers a valuable opportunity to engage with one of the world’s leading open source content management platforms, not only from a technical perspective but also through the lens of delivery, governance and client value. It is equally relevant to organisations that use Drupal and want a clearer understanding of how it supports complex digital services at scale.

Something for all across 2 days feature packed programme
This year the event expands to two full days in a larger venue, reflecting growing interest in Drupal from across the UK digital sector. Saturday will feature a curated programme of sessions led by experienced practitioners and Drupal end users. Sunday will focus on hands-on learning and collaboration, including AI workshops, contribution sprints and the introduction of Drupal in a Day training.
The programme as a whole is deliberately broad. Alongside developers, there is strong representation from product owners, user experience specialists, designers, project managers and marketers. Sessions are designed to be accessible to newcomers while still offering depth for experienced professionals, with case studies and practical examples drawn from live services.
Exclusive access to Drupal AI leaders
Artificial intelligence will be a significant theme this year. With the event taking place shortly before DrupalCon Chicago, attendees will hear from contributors closely involved in the Drupal AI Initiative, sharing current thinking and emerging capabilities relevant to agencies and client organisations alike.
Drupal in a Day training
Drupal in a Day is a free, practical introduction designed for students, agency staff and those looking to cross-train into a digital or web-focused career. It provides a structured overview of Drupal and open source development, moving beyond familiar platforms such as WordPress and proprietary cloud CMS products.

Participants will work directly with Drupal, gaining insight into how it is used in real-world projects across public, commercial and not-for-profit sectors. Places are limited and demand is expected to be high.
