The Cyber Resilience Centre for Greater Manchester (CRCGM), has been established to offer support and guidance on cyber resilience to businesses of all sizes across all sectors in the region.

In particular, we want to ensure we’re offering free and affordable support for freelancers, self-employed, people running their own business and small businesses (under 50 employees).  These types of small business are important in the supply chain of larger businesses, and so improved cyber resilience is needed.

In particular, ensuring free and affordable support for cyber resilience is made available to freelancers and those who are self-employed.

To do this, we have developed a range of membership options to fit all needs and budget, including our Core Membership option, which is open to all.

Many small and micro businesses find this free membership to be a helpful introduction to cyber resilience and how all staff should be cyber aware.

Our Core Membership includes:

  • Welcome Pack - This includes ‘How to Identify your Cyber Risks’, the latest National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) guidance, additional information on our cyber services and further membership options.

  • Free Guidance - how organisations can protect themselves in cyberspace, including the ‘10 steps to cybersecurity’ and ‘The Small Business Guide’.

  • Newsletter – regular, digestible updates which are relevant to organisations in Greater Manchester about cyber resilience.

  • Services Introduction - Briefing on our cyber services and how these can be tailored to your individual needs.

You can register for Core Membership and read more about our paid membership options on our membership page.
