Job description
As a Senior Performance Analyst on the Digital Identity programme, you will provide analytical leadership across multiple aspects of the One Login product. You will have the opportunity to help shape what we track and how we track it, working alongside other analysts in the team.
You will work closely with product teams to develop meaningful performance measures, improve data quality and generate actionable insights that support evidence-based decision making. As a senior practitioner you will ensure good practice and work with lead practitioners to improve capability.
As a Senior Performance Analyst, your responsibilities include:
- leading the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and success measures across one or more products within One Login, ensuring effective measurement and high-quality performance data
- analysing and interpreting data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights that inform product development, service improvement and strategic decision making
- working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to identify what should be measured, develop hypotheses and evaluate the impact of product and service changes
- influencing stakeholders to adopt evidence-based approaches and use data effectively in decision making, prioritisation and roadmap development
- leading the production of high-quality analysis and data storytelling, communicating complex findings and recommendations to stakeholders with varying levels of analytical expertise, including senior leaders
- contributing to the development of performance analysis capability through line management, coaching, mentoring and sharing good practice amongst the team
Person specification
We’re interested in people who have:
- strong experience developing performance frameworks, KPIs and success measures, and using data to evaluate and improve digital products, services or user outcomes
- strong experience of working with large and complex datasets using tools such as SQL, BigQuery, Google Analytics or similar technologies, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure robust data collection and measurement
- experience formulating questions, developing hypotheses, interpreting and validating data, and combining evidence from multiple sources to generate actionable insights to inform product, delivery or strategic decisions
- experience translating complex analytical findings into clear, compelling recommendations for audiences with varying levels of analytical expertise, including senior leaders
- strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working effectively across multidisciplinary teams and building trusted relationships with product, delivery, user-centred design and technology colleagues
- experience leading, coaching or developing performance analysts, promoting analytical best practice and contributing to a collaborative and inclusive analytical community
