Senior Product Manager - Ministry of Justice - G7

Want to shape how data powers decision-making across government? The Ministry of Justice is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead data-driven products that support hundreds of teams and improve services used by millions.

About the role

You’ll join the Data Platform Services team, working with a multidisciplinary group of digital and data professionals to develop and improve products that sit at the heart of the MoJ’s data strategy. These products support over 600 data specialists across the department, enabling them to securely access and use data to drive better outcomes.

This is a leadership role where you’ll shape product direction, support other product managers, and help deliver services that make a real difference to users across the justice system.

What you’ll be doing

• Setting product vision, strategy and direction
• Leading multiple products through the full lifecycle (discovery to live)
• Working closely with data analysts, engineers and scientists
• Using data, insights and user research to shape decisions
• Managing roadmaps, backlogs and delivery priorities
• Championing user needs and influencing senior stakeholders
• Ensuring products align with government standards and strategy
• Leading, mentoring and developing other product managers
• Collaborating across teams and the wider product community

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience leading digital or data products at scale
• Experience working closely with data professionals (analysts, engineers, scientists)
• Ability to set product strategy and prioritise effectively across teams
• Confidence using data and user insights to drive decisions
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Experience working in agile environments
• Ability to coach, mentor and support others
• Strong communication skills and a user-focused mindset
