This is an exciting opportunity to join HMRC’s CDIO Chief Digital Product Office (CDPO) within the Inbound Services Team, which manages HMRC’s Inbound, Outbound and Digital communication channels and services.

You will play a key role in maintaining these communication services and facilitating enhancements and innovation. In a time of significant transformation, you will be part of a fast-paced, high-profile team, working on complex and impactful Inbound services.

  • Own and maintain a backlog of 'user stories' for the service and prioritise the order in which they will be built and released to users. These should be in line with the goals of the product set by the organisation.
  • Work with the Leads in your area to understand different options for how a product or digital service might be developed, and the high-level financial case for the options.
  • Work with designers and researchers in your area to ensure the products and services are suitably adapted to meet accessibility standards.
  • Actively participate in, and contribute to, the Product Manager Community, this could be through taking part in community initiatives, running sessions or talks, or through other activities which support other product managers.
