As a Companies House apprentice, you will gain a wide range of on-the-job experience whilst undertaking a two-year programme of formal training and coaching. You will work towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Infrastructure with our training provider, Apprenticeship Learning Solutions (ALS). You will have time within the week to work towards this qualification receiving support from your line manager and buddy/mentor. For this role, office attendance is required full time. You will spend 4 days gaining on-the-job experience, and 1 day will be dedicated to completing your academic studies

Job description
As an Apprentice Specialist Infrastructure Engineer you will:
- Build, install and manage various mobile devices (includes laptops/Mac books/ Mobile Phones).
- Automated device build using Auto Pilot (Windows 11) and InTune (Macbooks) also using systems including, Windows Defender and Privilege Access Management.
- Respond to and resolve incidents and requests raised by users via ServiceNow in line with agreed OLA targets.
- Be involved in the administration of end user accounts on Active Directory, ENTRA ID and, O365 Admin Centre.
- Participate in the Tech Bar rota, advising and assisting Companies House colleagues with various IT issues.
There may sometimes be a requirement to work out of hours.
This role will require regular attendance in the Cardiff office as well as some home-based working.

Person specification
This is a role that provides the opportunity to participate in the support and rollout of existing and emerging technologies and the chance to gain knowledge of Companies House hardware and software systems.
We’re looking for someone who has:

- That as part of the Welsh levy requirements, you must have successfully completed a Maths or English at GCSE of the apprenticeship and we will require to see evidence of this to progress to the interview stage.
